The former Irish International also reflected on Mo Salah’s recent form, with the Egyptian having not scored in his last seven games, and believes that the goals will soon start coming.
“He is thinking too much about it at the moment, but when that first goal goes in it will start to come.
“Goals are notoriously like buses where you wait so long and they all come at once. He was never going to reach the heights of last year but he’s got 20 plus this year and thats still good.”
