EVERTON TO BEAT HUDDERSFIELD

Our neighbours across Stanley Park have had a strong start to the season and it’s been anything but boring. They’ve already picked up two red cards, leaving summer signing Richarlison on the sidelines after an attempted headbutt on Adam Smith last weekend. They’re going into the match against the Terriers at an awkward time with key players injured on top of the Brazilian’s suspension. But the overall positivity around Goodison Park and the strong, attacking football Silva has implemented, makes me confident of a home win.

WOLVES TO BEAT WEST HAM

Wolves surprised everyone by holding league favourites Manchester City to a draw last weekend. After a spirited display it was a well earned point, despite a few controversial decisions. This weekend’s opposition should be far less trouble for them than the reigning champions. The Hammers have lost all three games so far and will be desperate to turn the negative trend around. I think they’ll have to wait until after the international break. Wolves to get their first win of the season.

MAN CITY TO BEAT NEWCASTLE

Newcastle United have had a tough start in the Premier League, taking a single point from their opening three games. The other night they were knocked out of the League Cup by Nottingham Forest, and the Magpies remain winless this season. Surely that won’t change this weekend as they visit the best side in the league. Wolves caused upset last weekend by holding Man City to a surprising draw, but Pep’s men will bounce back on home turf. A home win for me.

Man City, Everton and Wolves all to win 17/4*
